Join in Our Strategic Planning
Identity is beginning to craft a strategic plan for the next three years.
You’re invited to join in the creation!
Identity knows that we can only create a roadmap and vision with the collective knowledge of our stakeholders, community advocates, and partnerships. In our work, we strive to create a community where queer joy, health, education, and financial stability are the norm for all of us, where equity is our unwavering foundation, and where consensus and access guides all decision-making and advocacy.
We are still reckoning with the continued public health crisis from coronavirus, an unprecedented number of anti-LGBTQ measures sweeping through local, state, and national governments, and the ongoing ravages of institutional racism. It is imperative that we not only thrive but decolonize Identity and our ways of relating to each other.
Identity and our community will only truly thrive when we come together to define it as an organization that provides access to all and serves the highest common interest of the entire community. Please join us by serving on our advisory groups that will help us better serve our community. We will also be hosting a series of community conversations in which every participant is empowered to shed the destructive aspects of our collective knowledge and practices and create space for BIPOC and disabled persons’ perspectives and practices.
